Lucrezia Spera is Associate Professor of Christian and Medieval Archaeology since 2006 and teaches "Late Antique Archaeology" in Bachelor's and Master's Degrees at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She is also Professor of "Christian Topography of Rome" at the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology (Vatican City State) since 2003. She has studied especially the martyrial sanctuaries and urban transformations in Late Antiquity and Early medieval period and the Christianization of spaces.
