Francesca Mari received her PhD from "Tor Vergata" University of Rome. She graduated from Roma Tre University and obtained her Postgraduate Specialization at the University of Bologna. She was a fellow at the Dutch University Institute for Art History (NIKI) in Florence and at The Medici Archive Project. She carried out an internship at the Vatican Museum. She holds a Certificate of professional qualification as a Restorer of Paintings and got the title of ‘Collaborator Restorer of Cultural Heritage - Restoration Technician’ from the Ministero della Cultura. She collaborates on research and cataloguing with the University of Roma Tre, the Museum of Palazzo Venezia, and the Corsini and Barberini Galleries. Her studies mainly focus on the Florentine and Roman Renaissance and Mannerism.
